It really is a pity that we can't read the rest of this without having to register.
Bummer.

The stinger at the end.
"All hail 'Buckhead,' " wrote one posting to Free Republic.
"Here, here," wrote another. "But how do we know Buckhead is really not Karl Rove
. "
Question - And how do we know the Los Angeles Times isn't Pravda?
Answer - we don't, but Free Republic is working on confirming it.

The article quotes a 'Rat-whazoo aperture named Jim Jordan, who said we're "a bastion of right-wing lunacy". Cool.

Democrats point to the timeline as evidence of a right-wing conspiracy Timeline? It was Dan Rather and CBS who decided to make a big deal out of it and broadcast a false story.
The Democrats just love to become victims when they get caught with their thumb in the pie.

That story began Wednesday, 19 minutes after the "60 Minutes II" broadcast began, when another FreeRepublic poster, TankerKC, noted that the documents were "not in the style that we used when I came into the USAF
. Can we get a copy of those memos?" Did anyone at the slimes get permission to print this in their 'for profit' publication?

Hey Buckhead, oops, I mean Karl, good work! (end/sarcasm)
They failed to point out that it was Free Republic that scooped the MSM on the Shuttle breakup.
I wonder how many other news items have been first reported on Free Republic.
Does anybody keep a list?
They fail to recognize the significance of a diverse group of citizens with varying skills, connected in "realtime" with the power of the internet at their disposal.

Col. Walter "Buck" Staudt --
When the FAMOUS post # 47 the other day on the FR thread first proved the forgery, it was posted by "Buckhead" as is mentioned above.

Gee, I must have missed something. I thought all the people on right wing web sites are toothless trolls, Rush Limbaugh zombies, mindless idiots and drinkers of the koolaid from the vast right wing conspiracy.
The MSM have just smashed into some of the technology savvy people from the new media. They'll just have to sharpen their computer skills and get over it.
Absolute proof the documents are fraudulent:
