We aren't afraid to admit mistakes or bow to others' expertise in matters.
It's all under the heading of learning and knowledge.
News people have forgotten whan news is....and what the mearning of "is" is.

They really can't because they can't see it. If those organizations are going to become more objective - management, ownership, boards of directors are going to have to replace current news staffs with conservative or at least truly objective people.
I've talked to too many libs who think MM is just the same as Rush Limbaugh, that Ann Coulter spews "rabid ideology" or really can't see reporter opinion passing for facts on the front page. It's more than disagreement over big/small govt, high taxes/regulation etc., it's 12-16 or more years of indoctrination in American publik skools.

They could just come to FR and post a vanity asking for all information on any subject and FReepers would be all over it with personal insight and links. LOL , I know, I've done it.

Just last week, after finding a Great Blue Heron eating all of the Koi in my pond, I asked FReepers for advice, and within an hour, I had enough information to write a book on the subject. There is power in this medium that the MSM cannot compare with. They need to get on board, or they will be left at the station.
The word "amateur" is not necessarily one anybody should be ashamed of. It's root comes from the french 'to love.' So, what an amateur is, really, is a person who does something for the love of doing it, and NOT for the money (which is what a professional is -- that is, one who does something for the money).
Which would you rather be -- one who does something for love, or a whore?

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around and what do you see? Businessmen, Teachers, Lawyers, Carpenters...the very minds of the people we're trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system, and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so innerred, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will that they will fight to protect it.
