I watched it when it made its first round of The History Channel, then bought the DVD set and watched it again. I then bought and read Stephen Ambrose's book "Band of Brothers." I just finished a four-book series by Donald Burgett, a member of the Scream Eagles during WWII. I thoroughly enjoyed them. These books are sitting on my nightstand waiting to be read: "The Longest Day" (saw the movie when it was first rleased) and "A Bridge Too Far" by Cornelius Ryan, "D-Day" by Ambrose, and "Tug of War" by Denis Whitaker (about the Canadian troops in Holland).

Indeed. And I remember when computers and their use was viewed with fear that society was becoming more isolated. Isolated? Ha! It's bringing us closer. At the speed of Cyberspace.

They are NOT the Main Stream Media anymore. WE are the Main Stream Media. They are the Old Media or Dinosaur Media or Democratic Party Propaganda Branch but they lost the Main Stream title last week.

You can say G.W. was selected not elected, we can demonstrate the illegal act of the Florida court supporting the Dems attempt to selectively count Dem districts to turn out fraudulent votes to put Gore over the top. We can point out your aid in announcing Florida for Gore, before the entire state had voted.
You can say under Clinton we experienced a time of unmatched peace and prosperity, we can point to multiple terrorists attacks against our country & the revealed corporate fraud and recession that begun before Clinton left office.
You can say those killing our soldiers are 'freedom fighters', we'll spit in your face and call them what they are- murderers.
You can say you are relevant, we say with the abundance of discussion forums, blogs, and talk radio connecting us in real time to the events of the day, that you are the dinosaur.
You can say we need you, we say YOU need us to validate your self worth.
