I was watching FOX this morning and they reported CBS's assertion the documents were real with no further comment. To the casual viewer it looked as though they accepted CBS's claim and therefore one could only conclude the documents are real.

If CBS is going to be held accountable for this, it will have to be taken to another level. The media won't inspect this in any detail. Like FOX, they will report CBS's denial and move on.

CNN Headline news is running with a story about a Harvard professor who is saying he had a conversation with GW "in a hallway" wherein GW says his family pulled strings so that he could get into the TANG.

That's SO credible that I may just have to change my mind and vote for Kerry. /sarcasm

Is the media closing ranks, just buying time to do more investigation, simply moving on or some combination thereof? An argument for closing ranks or moving on could be made on the hypothesis that a pox on CBS is a black mark on all. Given the overwhelming evidence that these documents are forgeries, what other explanation exists for the media's behavior?

I think its pretty obvious that th e democrats now running Fox have shown themselves now that Carvile et al are running the show.

It is going to take a young journalist who wants to make a name for him/herself to break this wide open. I betcha there are some out there who have visions of being the next Woodward/Bernstein. Hopefully they are seeking the TRUTH.

Call your local CBS affiliate and ask them how one goes about filing a letter in their relicensing file. Broadcasting "Facts" from forged documents, with the objective of affecting a presidential election, is AGAINST the public interest. Get your local broadcast affiliate onboard to scream at CBS news. Your local affiliate has a broadcast license at risk, and can therefore become highly motivated.
