Beyond chilling....horrific.

I recall reading somewhere that the former USSR had developed bioweapons which could survive a nuke detonation (their nuke detonation on us). Reportedly they did research and found that only 10% of the agents "survived"...but that that was enough to cause infection.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vladimir Zhirinovsky of the Liberal Democratic Party faction believes Moscow should give a tough response to Washington over President George W. Bush's remarks concerning President Vladimir Putin's initiative on reforming the political system in the country.

"The Foreign Ministry should summon the U.S. ambassador to Moscow and harshly tell him off, so that nobody in Washington dare tell us how to resolve our internal problems or how to fight terrorism," Zhirinovsky told Interfax on Thursday.
