A package with explosives has been found in a car in Moscow.
The explosives were hidden in a black polyethylene package with plums and left on a back seat of a private taxi, a source in Moscow law enforcement structures was quoted by Russian Information Agency Novosti as saying.
According to preliminary data, two men of Caucasian descent got into the car on Tuesday evening. However, after a quarrel with the driver they escaped and left their package in the car, the agency quoted the source as saying.
The driver noticed the package only two hours later and handed it to a police office. The policemen found another package hidden under the plums. There was a cardboard box in it with three trotyl blocks and a detonator with wires, the agency reported.
