EXACTLY!!!! McClellan says "we don't know" whether the documents are fake or real? What kind of imbeciles are they?
No, the White House knew the claims in their were false, but they probably didn't look at the typographics and other things close enough to be able to claim that the documents were forgeries. They did the right thing by not acknowledging it.
