What a bunch of species nonsense! Glad I haven't had dinner yet. Dan Rather has now hit ROCK BOTTOM in the credibility department.
Game. Set. Match.
Rather took the bait and didn't confront any of the other reasons why these documents are fake.
For me it's the 4. The typewriter in the TXANG office that had the "th" ability was not a superscript, and the "4" is open, not closed like it is on the forged documents. The "th" is not the same as on the forged documents either.
He's going down on the kerning.
All in All, this is a great one! Isn't it!!!
East Coast...we'll get regurgiated Dan at 630 PST.
And not bothering to show compared signatures or anything else.
Well at least he flushed and put the seat back down.
Now I just wonder how much longer he'll be circling the bowl!
And Rather did not mention another witness from the Guard at that time, even though he said he had others.
Their expert witness was a hired hand, nothing more.
Did you hear the bit about how he'll show pieces of evidence to the contrary of his story but "so far there aren't any."
Ask Killian's Son or his Widow. They told CBS the memos were wrong, but their words were dismissed.
Times Roman has been available since 1931, but only in linotype printshops...until released with Apple MacIntosh in 1984 and Windows 3.1 in 1991.
Rather only addressed superscript - so he's saying they are originals
That was the biggest load of crap I've ever seen.
Lamisil anti-fungal tablets
Levitra male satisfaction tablets
Sugar Free LifeSavers
Smart Balance margarine
So, CBS says the "seriousness of the charges", not "the documents themselves" should be investigated.
Where was CBS when the Swift Boat Vets layed out some "serious charges" against Kerry? Oh yeah, they were investigating the Swift Boat Vets themselves.
He's daring ABC, CNN, the papers, the whole MSM to keep digging into it. He's giving them the excuse not to--"Oh, we have their explanation" and is telling them to SPIKE THE BALL. After all, who'll listen to nutbars on the Internet?
(So many holes in his report, I don't have the time....)
thanks....i'm still sitting here with a grin on my face....OETR....who would have thought something that small would have tripped them up!
There are two polls on the subject on CNN.
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/
Should Dan Rather and CBS News reveal the sources of the Bush memos?
Yes 35% 282 votes
No 65% 519 votes
Total: 801 votes
AND
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/wolf.blitzer.reports/
Do you think the recently released memos on President Bush's National Guard service are authentic?
Yes 52% 65829 votes
No 48% 61920 votes
Total: 127749 votes
If you are so inclined, CNN needs a little FR power!
AS much as I don't want to, I can't wait to see O'Reilly try and spin this one tonight!!
Boycott ALL of VIACOMMIE: MTV, VH1, TVLand, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Infinity Broadcasting Radio, Paramount Network, BET, Spike, LOGO, Simon & Schuester, et al...
First of all, how can you determine the authenticity of a signature that's a photo copy? You can't. The signature could be copied and pasted.
This is BS!!!!
Regarding the substance of the memos it doesn't make sense.
This guy that they say knew Killion, is shifty. He's not looking at the camera, his eyes are darting.
Rather, has been duped.
