Somebody's watching us, I think. :-)
Or if the memo was pasted or placed over a copy of a real document with his real signature.
Not sure if it matters, but I just heard on MSNBC that CBS does not have the original documents. I wonder who does.
That is, Reich listed his co-conspirators in this plot.
Someone should take the ms format and photocopy it by a dozen generations and compare out. Methinks it'd be more obvious yet.
of all experts to call in .. they pick this guy??
Yes, bring on the originals. Examine the paper for the proper aging effects, the proper type head indentations, ink type,....etc...
28 USCode Sec. 506. - Seals of departments or agencies

knowingly uses, affixes, or impresses any such fraudulently made, forged, counterfeited, mutilated, or altered seal or facsimile thereof to or upon any certificate, instrument, commission, document, or paper of any description; or
with fraudulent intent, possesses, sells, offers for sale, furnishes, offers to furnish, gives away, offers to give away, transports, offers to transport, imports, or offers to import any such seal or facsimile thereof, knowing the same to have been so falsely made, forged, counterfeited, mutilated, or altered,
Thank you. I always forget that although 19 was the prime eligibility year, technically you were up for grabs until age 26.
Ok .. if Danny wants to play that game
Can Danny please explain why Killian mentions Stault .. when Stault retired the year before ??
I was disappointed that Sean didn't ask Mr. Killian whether CBS asked him to provide them other documents known to have been generated by his father.

Aaron Brown and a correspondent just did a surprisingly comprehensive report on CNN....(including repeated references to CBS's admission they only have copies). Their experts believe they're forged but cannot arrive at a conclusion without seeing the originals.
The Aaron said to her: "So without the originals, we're at a .... dead end I guess, is that right?". "Yes", she said.
The obvious next question would be: "How did CBS 'authenticate' IT's documents if all they have is copies". But, of course, Aaron didn't go there.
No problem. We had a discussion going on it the other day and someone posted all the rules and links for those years. I only know cause I recently re-read it myself.
(a)Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b)Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term ''office'' does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
Whoever falsely assumes or pretends to be an officer or employee acting under the authority of the United States or any department, agency or officer thereof, and acts as such, or in such pretended character demands or obtains any money, paper, document, or thing of value, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both
I don't understand why the RNC has not demanded that military intelligence investigate whether alleged military documents have or have not been forged: certainly a violation of military regualtions and/or federal law.
Anton
He called the Air National Guard back then corrupt
I noted during the evaluation a couple of days ago that some typewriters had a "th" symbol - though it was at a later time. All of the examples I saw that had that type of symbol also had an underline.
I assumed it was scanned and the cut and pasted.
The original (that was scanned) exists somewhere. Perfect match?
