I don't care of WashPost wants to take credit. Dan Blather needs to own up to the fact that he has used fraudulent documents to impune the President of the United States.
Someone at the WaPo read it on DU or the FreeRepublic. Then they decided it was news.
By definition it's not news until they say it is so, QED, they discovered it in their research.
At least that's how they see it. Afterall, no one actually reads the internet for news, right?

Foxnews, Carl Cameron and his guest, a former Texas National guardsman of GW's time, really handing CBS and Rather and Kerry their lunch over the forged docs, and also RAT rumors that GW was AWOL because he was a drug fiend. So lame. The more they get mired in this, the bigger the backlash. They're smearing an honest man...and his commander at the time, now dead. If Kerry has a brain, he'll move off this asap. Trouble is, of course, he has nothing sensible to offer anybody.
