this is the latest from Dr. Bouffard the forensics expert.
I'm not too surprised that there hasn't been much contribution from document examiners.
Most wouldn't want to put their reputation on the line until they looked at the actual papers DNC-BS claims to have.
They sure wouldn't base an opinion on pdf files downloaded from a web site.
We need to have these docs released in hard copy, and have experts look at the particular items DNC-BS has.

You're right about that - it's entirely possible that someone, using the "docs" as backgroud, would put that addy on there to give it credibility...
But the information in the posts is NOT about what's on your form - it's about what's in the CBS documents...
How can that be, unless someone is putting out there, before the "unveiling" on 60 minutes?

Actually, I hadn't watched him for several years, until I read here that O'Neill was going to be on. Broke my embargo -- but never again.

see post 529... the "History of Word Processing" talks about the Composers and doesn't mention kerning.
Then it states, "Kerning was implemented with WordPerfect 5.0, in 1988."

Henniken (DEM talking head) on radio (filling in for O'Reilly), and his angle is that if a superscript th can be found, then those who say the document is a forgery will be proven wrong. Very predictable angle.

But the information in the posts is NOT about what's on your form - it's about what's in the CBS documents... No, I don't think so. The discussion is about the documents released months ago, and whether those documents support an assertion that Bush was AWOL. It's the old argument, without the lies contained in the CBS forgeries.

I used a IBM Selectrec with Proportional Spacing, throughout the 60's to type, formulate and publish a trade magazine....what a nightmare to set up with the string tension doowah on the back of the carriage....anyway, I had no "superscript" that I recall. Just typed, for instance..."th" and it would be proportionally spaced right at the bottom after the number....and looking at copies of the magazine which I still have, the spacing was an "abortion" at times. I think we should demand that Rather be put in a PigPen for the rest of his miserable life!

The people that fall for this are a bunch of juvenille jerks that would not know their ass from a bass fiddle when it comes to military matters. But, it makes them feel like they are somebody amongst their playmates and that's all they can claim as the major accomplishment in their miserable lives.Sums up Dan Rather rather nicely, doesn't it?

The plot thickens quicker than Teddy Kennedy's waistline. Not up the speed of the expanding Michael Moore waitline yet.

I'll just do a hotlink to it then. I don't want to post it any other way, just in case!
Either way, it appears that this might have been a factor in the decision to use the address on the documents...
Interesting.
