The pathetic thing to me is that the media ITSELF should've had this database of old typewriter fonts on file. I mean, how much foresight does that take? How many typewriters were there? How many fonts were there? Not that many! They could store it all on one floppy disk! So much for journalistic brilliance.
Dang. I had several old Selectrics lying around when I decided to move out East. I got rid of them. I could have set up some kind of a lab for this.
