You guys are all super spies! I want y'all to read this article and tell me that the particular style of Times New Roman was available in 1972. http://www.truetype.demon.co.uk/articles/times.htm Note that PCs usually use the TrueType version. It's all about the kerning pairs, baby.

It's all about the kerning pairs, baby.Kernin I dig. I haven't seen a document with enough detail to observe kerning, but If you lead, I'll follow. Kerning is a subtle inhancement over proportional spacing, and is most noticable in italic or slanted fonts.
