In the first bullet where you have 1st Lt. If you change the "1" to a lower case "L" it may work better.

I've been a word processor (among other things for many years), and using the space after the number of substituting a lower-case "l" for a "1" will also circumvent the superscripted "th" or "st". However, there is a way to bypass it once it superscripts it (or any other Autocorrect action) in the process of typing it. It's hard to describe (and I don't want to help the DNC out!), but I've done it often.
