To: Right Wing Professor

I thought the most DAMNING aspect is how it showed letters like "i" being tucked under, say an "f". This would only happen on a computer. How would a 1972 typewriter "know" what letter came first, and then to tuck it under?

Excellent point worth repeating. On Hugh Hewitt the doc expert discussed the spacing and your example makes his description absolutely clear.
