Stuff from the Economist is rapidly approaching the need for an automatic "BARF ALERT!"
It's time for people to step up and point fingers to those who carry out these missions.
Bush's words are those who harbor terrorist are terrorist.
If we find out these guys have families in a certain country. We need to go interogate and make sure there was no contact for months. Phone records, friends, neighbors, they will know. Any contact is suspicious. We are at war. I know all my family members and what they are up to. If I don't, I can give information on how to find them.
Innocent people do die during war.
Let's start listening to the people who know.
This is a war. Let's go to war folks.
Democrats are you listening? Are you just happy that they have not hit you yet?
They're coming.
"Let's wait Kerry" or
Let's go Bush!!
YOUR CHOICE!!
It depends on how you define Al Qaeda. If you are looking for "Al Qaeda" ID badges, then you aren't going to find any. If you look at the presence of Saudi money, Wahab fanatics, access to Afghan training camps until 2001, if you look at the presence of Chechens still in Pakistan among Taliban remnants, and arab and pakistani volunteers among the Chechens, then its not hard to draw conclusions.
This isn't a trial, and we aren't their lawyers trying to get them off, our only need is to spot the connections and go after them.

Economist and Soros would LOVE to help Russia same way as they helped Serbia. And after they wreck Russia, break her into pieces, impose "open" society government in Moscow, and Islamic law in the peripheries, they hope to have Putin imprisoned in Hague.
B...but I thought the US was supposed to stop sticking its nose into other peoples' business. Oh, this might be one of those pesky exceptions, maybe? Like Liberia, or Haiti, or Rwanda or the Sudan? I bet if something extremely valuable, irreplaceable in fact, were found in the Sudan or Rwanda, every single European country would be lined up to 'help'.

The massacre of 300 children was deplorable, but it is not an unusual act in wartime. The US & Britain firebombed Dresden and Cologne in WWII, and Tokyo suffered the same fate. More than 300,000 civilians died, including children. This type of action is known as "Total War", and it's been around since the beginning. It's terrible, but the US is prepared to do it again if necessary, this very minute, with nukes at the ready. You may counter that WWII was different, that we were fighting a "just" war, and these people today are terrorists. That is true, but the "rules" of war only count if you follow them, and this particular enemy, like Japan 50 tears ago, has decided not to follow them. The only solution is to do what we did in the past, throw the rules out ourselves and launch a "Total War." This does not mean the use of nukes necessarily, but all of our assets should be utilized as required to stop the people who are trying to kill the West's way of life.
