Not too many Americans know that the Japanese bombed Australia in WWII, or how bad things looked for a Japanese invasion early in the war--while America, which had been held in check by the America First movement, got its butt in gear and got moving.

And not too many Australians know about the Battle of the Coral Sea where the US effectively put and end to the planned Japanese invasion of Australia.

Americans and Australians will always stand and fight when their freedom is threatened. More than can be said for some.

It's way to early to draw conclusions, but I'd keep my guard up in both Australia and Indonesia.

Hang tough.

BTW, this is one American that doesn't think our Aussie friends are wimps. I see you as our brothers in the struggle against the enemies of freedom.

The struggle we face will be long and pitted with many horrible moments. No matter how dark it looks we must find perseverance in our cause.

Each attack, each inhuman crime they commit, should only serve to show us the evil we must overcome.

My prayers for your countrymen this very morning.

I am looking at these pictures.

I just can't believe how much I hate these people. It is starting to scare me how much I could easily kill them myself if I ran into one.

I have never felt such hatred and anger.

My prayers are with the Australians. Friends and allies and I know their men aren't spineless whimps. Why am I not hearing about this on the radio! Thank goodness for FR.

That's from the link & on Yahoo, I think it was taken from the inside and the window is what makes it look strange.

"I know the Pat Buchananites might jump on this, but seeing this, Russia, etc., is anyone else thinking that maybe, just maybe, Tom Ridge and W are doing a GOOD job of keeping us safe in the US?"

Agree. . .not to say of course, that it cannot/won't happen; it will most likely; just wish more appreciated the fact that since they are alive - NOW - post 9/11; they ARE better off.

Thanks for the prayers and the words of support.

I am a little apprehensive that an attack may occur here some time between now and our election on October 9.

I would be apprehensive as well, given the new pattern of trying to influence elections with terrorism. However, don't let you or your friends get a spirit of fear about it because the terrorists can smell that like a shark smells blood.

They really don't care, do they? It's all about killing for them, and it doesn't matter who is the victim. It doesn't matter to them if it is one our allies on the WOT, like Australia, Japan, or Italy, or one who refused to stand with us, like Russia, France, or Turkey, or one that was intimidated into withdrawing their support, like Spain. They relish the carnage, and relish the attention.

And we in the civilized world are supposed to be "sensitive" to their inhumanity? NO! Now Australians were killed by a bunch of animals who violate every concept of humanity; we need to fight back. This islamofascist movement is a cancer, and it's time to treat this disease with all the weapons at our disposal.

Go with it. That's what we're going to need in the years to come.

"I believe the brave Australians you and I once knew are no more and have been surreptitiously replaced with effeminate pantywaists who now rely on bureaucrats to take care of them."

You are 100% correct. The same pattern is what we also see in Europe.

As a software engineer, the main development platform I specialize in, a product by Raining Data Corp. called "Omnis Studio", is primarily used overseas, as well as Canada. The vast majority of programmers on the mail-lists I subscribe to are Canadian, Australina, British, German, Swedish, Norweigan, Spanish, etc.

The political perspectives (to grace the term) of these people is so distorted as to be beyond belief. Even events like these will not change their minds that the only "real evil" in the world is the United States. I have wasted uncounted hours in my attempts to sway their brainwashed minds. It's useless.

The U.S. is the lone sane voice in a sea of sheeple all slowly being led to slaughter. They are, as a people, meat on the table. I respect the Iraqis much more than these mewling cowards.

I never thought I'd ever be saying this, but my most fervent hope is that, when they are being butchered wholesale, we don't lift a finger in their behalf. They are simply not worth it.

Just my view from the saddle.

The problem many don't recognize....is that the NRA..and others of the same species...need money to survive.

They are not above...sensationalizing a situation...in order to rally the troop$.

I wish it weren't so...but it is.

Good on ya, mate..!!
