I keep on hearing that the US has permanent interests not permanent friends.... heck, let the State Department at least have interests that are permanent and not waffle on this terrorist crap. We need to occupy Saudi Arabia and Pakistan for then next umpteen years...we as in the Russians, Americans, Indians, Israelis, Brits, Aussies, and Japan.
