They might be memos written by his CO, but they contain nothing in them that hasn't already been found in his records. They can spin it all they want, and I hope they waste alot of money doing it. I doubt it will get any traction. The bottom line is Bush signed Form 180 to have all his records released. If he felt there was anything detrimental in them, he wouldn't have signed the form. On the other hand, Kerry refuses to sign form 180. What does that tell you?

I disagree, respectfully.
There is no memo in the President's National Guard File that is headed "CYA".
These are memos that Killian kept. They are not part of the President's guard file, but CBS is claiming that they are contemporaneous notes of Bush's CO.
You see the implication will be ---why would Bush's CO keep his own memos, contemporaneously?
