Keep reminding your uncle that we are in a war against Satan, not man. Unless we fight evil Satan triumphs. Jesus' teachings on passive resistance were all directed to the individual. He then told us to render unto Caesar. He never addressed the issue of war, but he took up a whip against the evil money changers in the Temple courts. God commanded his people to wipe out whole tribes in the Old Testament. The thing is, if everyone was a Christian and treated one another according to Jesus' teachings we would have no wars or disputes as a society or as nations.

I do think he KNOWS these things but is very blinded by his political views and is being proud.
He has opposed GWB from the start and will not change.
It doesn't matter that much to me, I feel and believe that good will triumph.
I don't worry too much about the future, it is out of my hands! :0)
Not to mention He is a Warrior God as demonstrated throughout out the Old Testament and the book of Revelation, and this old earth is hurtling toward The Big One, the battle to end all battles, when Jesus as King will prevail over all unrighteousness for all time. But not by pussyfooting around to appease the bad guys; He'll be taking them all on, and be the One left standing.
