President Bush continued his bus tour of Missouri today with appearances at Lees Summit High School, in Lees Summit, Missouri, a stop at a business in Warrensburg, then on to the Missouri State Fair Coliseum in Sedalia for an Ask the President event, after having appeared before a crowd of 30,000 cheering supporters in Poplar Bluff last evening. The President is scheduled to travel through Missouri by bus for the rest of the day and return to the White House this evening.
Its a GOOD time to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!
The day is ALWAYS better when one sees the President's smile! :o)
My wife ordered one of those, I just don't remember which one! I just finished "Unfit for Command" and was about to read Tommy Frank's book.
He used mustard. :-)
He DOES look relaxed and happy, doesn't he?
Thanks for the ping
It was raining in Missouri last night.........just a drizzle, I guess, but it sure didn't dampen anyone's spirits!
Anyway great pictures. Thanks for posting them
I love the 7th one down on this post. The girl screaming and crying would definately be me.
More applause from this corner of the room.
Salute to the Dose!
We stood out on 50 HWY between Lee's Summit and Lone Jack waving our sign and jumping up and down as the motorcade drove by. I was impressed by the show of cops along his route. I hadn't been pulled over to the shoulder for more than a minute before some plain clothes police men pulled behind me and told me I had to move to a side street. Hundreds of cops! We were there for about an hour for a 45-second drive by. Enjoyed every bit of it! :-)
Oh how exciting! I am so glad to hear he is well protected too. I worry about him and his family. Were you screaming?
So kerry is going to give a "defining" speech in Cincinnati tomorrow, huh? And It's for TV, apparently, because he's not giving out passes for people to attend. SMART MOVE, now no one will know how many people DON'T go to see him.
How much more defining of confusion can you do? The more he speaks the more people turn away.. Now let me guess he might talk about the economy and how pitiful it is, but I bet he'll talk about his military service.
OTOH Maybe, he's trying to keep the freepers out (or maybe Zell's Angels).....(just got a new tag line)
Doesn't it look like fun? I could do a rally every day for this man.
That's a good tagline. Very clever.
Mornin' all! What a lovely way to start my day!!
Top 50? New benchmark for me! :)
Great tagline.
LSAggie & I were among the 14,000 at Lee's Summit High School this morning for the rally. Attendance number came from a suited Bush worker with clipboard. Wonderful speech, energized crowd. "Four more years, USA-USA and Bush-Cheney" were heard many times during his 45 minute speech. Kit Bond, Jim Talent and Sam Graves were there as well, fine speeches. It was so good to see the president in person in our home town. Wonderful weather and a super rally. God Bless George W. Bush.
