SEN. JOHN KERRY TO CROWD AS HE HELD UP GUN: I thank you for the gift, but I can't take it to the debate with me." (Darlene Superville, "Kerry Bolstered by Clinton Advice," Associated Press, 09/07/04)

well...Mullahs love Kerry,
...Mullahs love burquas(veils)
...we've all seen Kerry can't properly handle a gun and
heard he low crawls to hunt deer.
it all makes sense now. you REALLY can't shoot well with
a burqua covering your face.
I guess it's a matter of perspective...
they have none.
LOL.
I have a new tagline.
Fortunately, the Secret Service is already babysitting John John.
I agree...IF it gets press coverage.
Could you imagine if Pres. Bush had accepted a gun and made that statement?
He would be the trigger-happy cowboy, bad influence on children, loose cannon. The media would be all over it, 24/7, demanding he apologize for such an insensitive remark.
Of course it was Kerry's lame attempt at humour. Just imagine if President Bush had done the same thing. That's the issue here.
Kerry is a dangerous man. The metrosexual is trying to beef up his image by making a not so subtle threat against the president.
You honestly believe that? Give me a break.
Rabid party groupies, regardless of party, seem to proffer all kinds of hysterical innuendo. No wonder the whole national political process in this country has deteriorated to a point where rational people dont care about it any longer.
GW would take it away and shove it right up his a$$.
Sad but true, they already have a "file" on Horse Face"
.
I think it is a threat and a covert signal to other unhinged and violent Democrats. If anything ever happens to our beloved President we will know the source.
Anything said by anyone could be a "covert signal" to unhinged individuals. Let's try to stay grounded in reality.

He's probably figuring it's the only way he has a chance in a debate.
Yeah, ya'll. The guy is not cool, but that was a joke. It's about the most hip one he has made yet. It wasn't over the top. This would have been over the top IF he had said, "Gee, thanks guys, and I think I'll just take it to the debates with me." Now that would have not been cool, but the one he made was desperate, but not too bad.
"You honestly believe that? Give me a break."
Well, what *did* he mean by it, then?
