If Rudy won the Republican nomination after a fair primary fight and social conservatives refused to support him, voting for a third-party candidate and leading to a Hillary Clinton victory, social conservatives will be responsible for Hillary's election.

You really don't get it. The "lesser of two evils" thing ain't going to work. If Hillary gets elected it'd be because the GOP ran an anti-Christian candidate. Big tent implosion time.

The issue of abortion will not be decided at the executive level of government

but it can and has been settled at the judical level and who appoints supreme court judges?

Apparently Hillary Clinton, if Giuliani is the alternative.

I thought Rudy did OK, a little bland in spots.

Zell MIller gave the knockout speech of the convention. Maybe he can run in 2008?

He might make VP but you have to be pro-life and be faithful to your spouse to make it to the front of the
line. Sorry liberal press but 65% of the Republicans is not enough.

No true conservative will ever enable socialists like Hillary Clinton to be elected.

"Giuliani is pro-abortion and against the Marriage Amendment."

Bump!

You can Christian conservatives every name in the book, you threaten to blame us like Hitler blamed the Jews for the loss of WW-I, and you can fantasize all you want about the pro-death pro-sodomy Guliani. We answer to a higher authority.

The "pro-death, pro-sodomy Giuliani" you reference stood on the stage in New York and declared to the world "Thank God George Bush is President."

He's supporting and campaigning with Bush, a God-fearing, pro-life, born-again Christian who is thankful for the support of the man you're besmirching with rhetorical epithets.

Do you support George W. Bush?

He's named a pro-choice guy as the head of Homeland Security, a pro-choice woman as head of the EPA, a pro-choice guy as Secretary Of State and his Vice President disagrees with him on the issue of same-sex marriage. Of course, Bush didn't dump Cheney for his beliefs, because he realizes Cheney's value.

One- or two-issue social conservatives are going to get atrocities like Hillary elected one day. I am pro-life and I see the necessity of keeping socialist scum out of the White House at all costs.

It's too bad so many of my brethren suffer from such extreme myopia and are afflicted with such a dearth of cunning. They'll wind up handing this country over to the one-worlders, who will never give it back.

PLEASE stop posting this train wreck in the making!

Guiliani the gun grabber can kiss my "SHAVING CREAM, NICE AND CLEAN".

I will make a public promise, right now, that i will NEVER vote for that "SHAVING CREAM, NICE AND CLEAN" no matter WHO is running against him!

A vote for that "SHAVING CREAM, NICE AND CLEAN" RINO would be no different than a vote for Hitlery of Chucky Scheemer!

Who are all these shallow fair weather "republicans" who are falling for this "SHAVING CREAM, NICE AND CLEAN"?

*"SHAVING CREAM, NICE AND CLEAN", substituted for the plain language I would prefer, but which is not PG rated and would probably get me banned ;-)

Wouldn't trust him if he DID change his views on abortion...he would just change back once he became President...

No pro baby killing pro homo candidate gets my vote ever. I don't see Ralph Reed, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Gary Bauer, Phylis Schlafly, Alan Keyes, etc. etc. making that Satan's sale either in 2008. And the gun grabbing thing ain't going to fly with the second largest GOP voting block either. It's you that's suffering from myopia or fan bois mania. You don't even know what the hell Guliani stands for. He's uhh really popular uhh... and he supports Bush... and uhhh...liberals love him... and he can beat Hitlery... uhhh Yeah sounds like a brilliant plan.

And another thing... shove that "true conservative" crap up your rear end. Anyone for Guliani definately comes from the shallow end of the Conservative pool.

How does Rudy Giuliani vote for abortion?

I don't know if you were serious but any politician that is pro-choice affects the outcome somewhere along the line, now does that make sense to you? And besides, I can hardly trust anyone that says that he believes in something that he says he doesn't. (figure that one out)

"And another thing...shove that "true conservative" crap up your rear end."

I had thought that employing sodomy metaphors was beneath your dignity; but since you're advocating it, you seem to have outed yourself as a bogus social conservative.

I never said I was for Giuliani. I said I'd support him over Hillary.

I prefer Jeb Bush.

It's best not to pop off before you have the facts..somebody might think you're an idiot.

Zell will be 76 years old in '08. Not impossible but he says he's retiring to spend time with his family. I believe him.
