After reading the article with some fascination, I did some
research and found that another potentially significant date was 12th
November 1997 when Yusef was convicted for the WTC bombing.
When I awoke in Australia on the morning of 13th November 2001 in
Australia to the news that AA587 had gone down in Queens on 12th
November 2001, I was saddened but not surprised. For several weeks
I tried to get someone/anyone in the media to report the significance
of the Ramsi Yusef conviction date coincidence, and it appeared
no-where.
It was in seeking to share this story with a new colleague that I have
today done an internet search on Flight 587 and came up with the
Canada Post story on the Free Republic website.
I felt the need to once again try to share the connection between flight
587 and Ramzi Yusef's conviction on 12th November 1997.

It's interesting to re-read his history.
I hadn't remembered that he was Khalid Sheik Mohammed's nephew.
