"...All day long, newscasts at the top of the hour of the news stations were announcing the medical situation that was developing with former President Bill Clinton.
After visiting a doctor near his home in Westchester, his doctors determined he needed emergency quadruple bypass. I began hearing the reports publicly by 11:00am EST. I heard them again on the news reports at 11:30am, a newsbreak update at 11:45am, at 12:00pm the local ABC station had the story, and I heard it again at 12:30pm. He was sent to Columbia Medical center in New York, the Kerry campaign was contacted, and The President of the United States offered best wishes and hopes for a "swift and speedy recovery" from a campaign stop in West Allis Wisconsin. My point is simply this...news of the former President's health was literally all over the world, and the emergency nature of what he is facing. I announced it on my show and asked people to pray for him at 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm and 3:30pm.
So when did Mrs. Clinton show up at the hospital?
Well according to New York Newsday (Hillary's hometown newspaper) Mrs. Clinton sauntered through the emergency room doors a little past 4pm. And according to the same report she had put in an appearance at the State Fair in Syracuse before bothering to go to her husband's side...and the kicker is - this is an election year, but she's not running this year. And she isn't really campaigning for John Kerry..."

There is no substance to this silly article. I hope Freepers don't jump on this as some kind of red meat thing. The meat is rancid.
Hey, if I had a choice of going to the state fair or attending to Bubba...I'd pick the state fair hands down.
Hillary's voice sure sounded dull and monotone when
she made a statement to the press!
She has only two volume levels:
Dull and Screech

Yep.
The man's sick, leave him alone.
The question should be - at what part of GWB's acceptace speech did Bubba start feeling th chest pain ?
IT's not like the guy was dying. The guy is at a hospital so wtf is she gonna add?
They certainly have a distant relationship.
I suspect Bubba enjoyed the whole convention. Lot's of good speeches, and if anyone enjoys a well delivered speech, it is Bubba. I'm serious.
This is just more proof that the Clinton marriage is a sham; nothing more than a union for political advancement. That's all it's been for years, if not decades.
When I was rushed to the emergency room back in June, I had friends, family and colleagues who moved heaven and earth to be by my side and offer support that very evening. And Mrs. Clinton couldn't be bothered to see her husband for 5 hours? That in itself speaks volumes.
Just wish him a speedy recovery. It must be frightening for him. (Politics away in the drawer right now).
I quite imagine that Hitlery hopes that Bill doesn't survive. This could put her in a better position to win in '08 -- the grieving widow, without the baggage. Nonetheless, I'm sure she hates him.
Aw heck! There goes Kerry's oxygen again!
My prayers go out to Pres. Clinton. I hope he doesn't suffer long.
It is really good to see you and your clever graphics back on FR. You doing okay, I hope?
You keep on being subtle like that.
Especially since she probably won a blue ribbon. (Hint: think of what they judge at a state fair....)
whaddaya talking about? smartest women in america? expert on healthcare? surely she can do the surgery herself.
(JOKE MODE ON)
I think the damning thing for Hillary was not going to the state fair, it was bringing those milkshakes, cheeseburger, and fries for Bill while the doctors checked his arteries. And then being so chipper about it. hmmmmmm.
Yea I's like to wish Bill well by sending him a bucket of KFC.
/ok bad dark unnecessary attempt at humor
