I have that incredibly moving picture of the severed hand saved so I will always be reminded of these murderous Islamist nut jobs.
I think it's a close-up of the young girl's hand (as opposed to a severed one) from a few pictures up. It's a rotated view, which makes it a bit confusing. She's looking at the camera while they're tending her. It almost looks as though she's wanting everyone to see to Whom she was clinging. Both photos are profound and unforgettable on their own--together, they say even more.
