Kerry has gotten pathetic. It's just laughable. He's calling a popular sitting president "unfit for office." How idiotic is that? He's already IN office you moron! It just doesn't work on incumbents. And it strikes me as a little kid saying "I know you are but what am I!"

Kerry is totally losing it. In a really bad way. This new "tougher campaign" strategy of Kerry's is to accuse Bush of Saudi oil conspiracies and "misleading the country into war"?? THIS is what we were waiting with baited breath for? Kerry's winning strategy is to transform into Howard Dean??

Does anyone still believe that this is going to be "a close race"?

After seeing what I saw last night, this is the first time I'm inclined to believe "landslide" is possible. I really think it might have been Kerry's Howard Dean Scream. The only thing more pathetic than his miserable little attempt to upstage the president, was the CNN "analysis" of the convention. Mario Cuomo began with "it's the best thing that ever happened to John Kerry -- it's fired him up". Mo Rocco (?) mocked the allusions to 9/11 saying "okay, okay, I give -- 9/11 is the only issue! 9/11! 9/11!" Larry King, Cuomo, etc. all laughed.

Truly, liberals are a breed apart.

Well, I'd like to think it wont' be close...that President Bush will run away with the election. But then, I'm probably like most on this website...and NOTHING like about 50% of the population who appear to be uninformed, ignorant of the seriousness of what's at stake with this election. I'm guardedly optimistic at this point that President Bush will prevail, but plan to remain ever vigilant until Kerry makes that concession call on election night.
