These are the same Russians that held off Hitler's troops at the gates of Stalingrad for over a year.
I don't see them backing down to these animals.
No more than they thought killing a few thousand Americans would make us love them. They, Al Qaida leadership, want us to come down on them. They believe that will spark an uprising amoung the "moderate" Arabs and Muslims. Well we came down on them pretty hard, it hasn't happened yet, it's not gonna happen. But they can't accept that, it goes against their entire world view, so the killing of innocents will continue.
