The Democrats did not lay off the campaigning through the RNC convention.
They are doing damage and spin control for Kerry because he has been unable to pull a rabbit out of his hat, and if he still can't manage it before the middle of October, he's as good as no longer in the race.
Pulling a rabbit out of Kerry's hat isn't going to do him much good. He needs to figure out how to stuff the elephant back in.

Responding today to Zell Miller's carpet bombing last night, McAuliff said that Zell's "just trying to sell books"...That was his reponse to Zell total and systematic disasemmbly of the Dem's basis to be elected... Way to go Terry, that'll wipe Millers stemturner from the American public's consciousness. ROFL!
