Rush made a point today. What Zell did was rather a throwback to the politics used to be, before the days of focus groups; by which I think he was saying, not turn off anyone.

Time will tell. The Buchanan speech question is interesting. That was then - when the MSM had all the power. ThHis is now. The new media is here.

Buchanan's speech was on a different issue.

It was more on a social issue, if I recall.
It was more to certain people.

The Miller Speech was more on Safety for the country and National Security....an issue that speaks to all people.
