Tell me honestly, please, Mr. Smiley, do you think Zell Miller's speech might have an effect on any Independents and Undecideds? I'm only asking since you identified yourself as an Independent. I think its important to identify the things which influence those who haven't made up their minds.
My husband is a retired "Lifer Pig" (as he was called more times than I care to remember!), who served a tour in Korea at 18, and 2 tours in Vietnam. We could never vote for Kerry for the same reason. He's one of the reasons we are Republicans.

Hmmm.
Between the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, Zell's speech, and the POW Documentary that's just around the corner (See stolenhonor.com for details), anybody who's still voting for Kerry must be sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting "MEMEMEMEME" to drown out the sounds of truth.
The only 'other side' analysis I've done so far about The Zell Effect was my brief peek at DU.
I'll look at what the guys on RealClearPoltiics.com put up for today;
And if they throw Zell out of the Democratic Party within seven days, it will further confirm that his speech is having an effect.

(The only 180 that Kerry hasn't done is the one that would release ALL his military records.)
