When I was a little girl in New Orleans, black ladies used to come door to door selling home-made pralines. I wonder if this girl's mom or grandmother was one of them.
I wish someone would come to MY door selling pralines! Unfortunately, in Indiana the chance of this happening is slim to none.
She said it was her great grandmother,when Lincoln freed her.
