I kinda expected Jenna to stick her tongue out...especially after Arnold's "Girlie-man" comment, and with the comfortable, "family theme" of the whole evening.

I think they may have written their own speech. And it's not their strong suit, that's all. Hubby thinks it was all carefully orchestrated to be funny to the youngest voters, making the girls seem like one of the gang.

I'm sure glad I'm not part of the gang...I could never speak that language. Shake like Polaroid??? I figured that out, but...it's stupid!

Kids ought to talk like we did. Cool, Man, Cool. That's Heavy.

Relax Edith... "Shake it like a Polaroid picture" is a line in a song by Outkast, one of the hottest bands for the 35 and under crowd.

The girls did quite well. They were truly funny, a bit goofy, and appropriate! Barbara Bush and Bush41 enjoyed the speech and were laughing yet the old hags and prudes of Free Republic and angry enough to remove their house dresses and slippers, put on the flowered long dress with the high neck line and take the streets in their Buick Le Sabre's. Oy!
