Raleigh,NC-In a slap to Democratic Gov. Mike Easley, a state association representing more than 50,000 state employees and retirees is endorsing a Republican for governor for the first time.

Dana Cope was going to run for Sec of Labor in 2000 before dropping out to take the position he in. Since taking the position he has transformed the state employees organization into something more radical than it ever was. John Hood, of the John Locke Foundation, said on NC Spin he believes that it is Cope's intention to unionize state employees.

Dana Cope is the first person to no longer lead the SEANC as a lap dog of the "Powers That Be" Read between the lines...
The Union as you refer to not only does not exist but it is
also Against the Law for it to be formed in NC.
