Your daughter will be kept in my prayer intentions.
Bill, sometimes the drug companies provide medications at a reduced cost for those who can't afford them. It is worth looking into, if she doesn't respond to the other drugs tried.
May God bring healing to your daughter and sustain your family.

,,, prayers and thoughts are with you from downunder.
I've been in your shoes with a couple of close family members, my friend. My Mom and my brother. There's nothing easy about it.
Mental illness is so hard to deal with. My older brother was hit with it in his early twenties...same with Mom...which is when it shows up in most cases. They, and we, had alot of rough years.
But to inject a note of hope, my Mom did much better in her later years, and today my brother is married and has two beautiful kids. There are still periodic struggles, health problems, and life is far from perfect, but he is a wonderful, warm, smart human being of great worth.
Yes, he relies on medication to keep things under control, but more importantly, he has faith.
The Rock of our salvation, Jesus, if you can get them to grasp on, is the stability they need to control their thoughts and emotions.
You and your beautiful daughter are in my prayers.

Prayers sent!
Ping!
Prayers sent to you, your daughter and your family.
I pray that God will send someone to help you in this hour of need.
I can't imagine what you have been going through and I will certainly pray for your daughter and you. I wish I could offer more.
That sounds like the understatement of the century. I will pray for her and for you...
Oh, Little Bill....I'll pray for her and for you. I can't even imagine how hard this must be.
PLEASE keep all of us informed...we're family here.
May the Lord's healing virtue infuse your daughter, to His glory.
And likewise for you, cobalt.
Your love for her is so strong that I can feel it just reading your post.
I can't offer you much beyond my prayers for your family, and you have that.
God bless.
Luis
We have been touched by mental illness in our family.
I will offer prayers for your daughter, you and your family. Sts. Rita and Jude are especially powerful saints for hopeless or impossible cases. God bless you!!

Little Bill, they said the same thing about my sister, 20 years ago. The expert said she was "schizophrenic" and they wanted her institutionalized. We talked as a family, and instead of doing what the expert said to do, we did what we knew we had to do - see first if she could make it without the drugs, without the institution.
She never went to the mental institution - instead, she went forward in her life. She has a family, a degree, and she has us. Life has not always been peachy, but my sister is alive and well, and she herself is her own best psychiatrist.
When did this start, and what drugs were they giving her at the time? So many times, the drugs have side effects which leads to the downward spiral - also, there are many physical illnesses which bring on symptoms of mental illness.
Freepmail me. I have experience, maybe some of it will help.
Praying for you and yours.
