I'm pro-Chechen too. Every peaceful Chechen has my sympathy. But the gang that ruled Chechnya 1996-2000 was a gang of murderous Wahhabis. They are in bed with the Talliban. Wahhabis did 9/11. You are obviously blinded by hatred and nationalism. And that is dangerous. Do you support the "Aztlan now" crowd? Well, I have to tell you, there are nationalistic Mexicans who want to carve another country out of the US. I guess you would fit right with them. Not every crackpot hippie that screams "independence" is right. Most of them bring a lot of misery to themselves and others. And it happens in the future , not in the past.

You might thing that since you have been at the spot you know more. This is hubris. Others have also been there and elsewhere and know a lot more. I'm afraid your observations are quite superficial.

The funny thing, same kinds of nationalist that march in streets of Tbilisi to scream independence were first ones on planes flying to live and work in Russia...once they figure out the crap they create for selves and the fact that they have everything for free and work little and now do not even have electricity. Million Georgians live in Russia now.
