Keyes believes that people should be able to carry weapons around "as long as they are properly trained".
Trained by whom exactly?
Who gets to define what "properly trained" entails, and how do we separate those "properly trained" from those not "properly trained"?
Thus far, Keyes has come out in favor of reparations, and now seems to support government control of who gets to own and carry.
Some conservative...
Trained by their fellow citizens perhaps? Self-goverment works when allowed.
So now you're scrambling to reinvent yourself by trying to paint Keyes as a gungrabber???
ROTFLMAO!!!
Thank-you, Luis!!!
That's gotta be one of the funniest things I've seen in a loooooong time!!!
You really are entertaining in a very bizarre way.
Good grief, we've been doing it for four decades.
If you're over 21, your state doesn't ban Class 3 weapons, you're not a felon and charges aren't pending, get youself a BATF Form 4, a letter from your police chief that no felony indictments are pending, and $200, and you too can own an automatic weapon. Alan isn't breaking new ground here.
BTW, if Alan can persuade my reenactor neighbor to stop shooting his 50's on weekends during bow season? I'd really appreciate that.
Now on this thread you attack Keyes because his beliefs on a few issues aren't conservative enough for you, and we're supposed to believe you? Me thinks you are wholly disingenuous.
Face it. You don't like Keyes conservative views on the social issues and his deeply held religious beliefs. This is not a problem for you with Specter because he is neither religious nor socially conservative and thus you support his re-election.
Neither are you genuinely concerned about a Republican majority in the Senate, like you were several months ago, or you would support Keyes even if you believe he has little chance of winning.
