2004: "Certainly he believes in the Second Amendment, but he also believes in common-sense gun safety laws, such as the federal ban on military-style assault weapons."
2010: "Certainly he believes in the First Amendment, but he also believes in common-sense speech safety laws, such as the federal ban on insensitive and derogatory speech."
It is utterly amazing that someone could say that they believe in the 2nd Amendment in the same sentence as they advance the cause of a gun ban. What a maroon - and unfortunately, his boss is headed to DC since a majority of those in Illinois who will vote are utter idiots.
