I saw that thread you linked. At post 19 on that thread is another link to the Nov. 2003 story which ties George Soros to the Georgian revolt which ousted Shevardnadze.

Same leftist tactics used in Georgia then, organized protests, bussing in demonstrators. Soros funded.

That Soros is nothing but trouble and I'll believe he was funding the ouster of Shevardnadze (whew - I'm glad you could spell that!) to further democracy when I see pigs fly.
