What on earth is wrong with people speculating even if they do so in a declarative way? What skin is it off your nose? I understand your point. However, unlike you and a couple of others on this thread, I just am not exercised over equally understandable speculation as to these being terrorist acts. After all, as noted, even Russian authorities are not ruling out terrorism as of latest reports.

I just personally find it misleading and misinformative to declare that a certain explaination is the only possibility when it's such an inflammatory topic. I'm not saying that mods ought to remove the comments - just that I think it's a little irresponsible to post something like that without anything more than preliminary new reports as a base.

Nor should they - nor should the DHS unless and until there is hard evidence that it's not terrorism. If indeed two planes went down within minutes of one another, that makes it all the more likely that it's the result of intentional actions - terrorism related or otherwise.
