You hardly hear about this call to Hoffman in the news. Kerry clearly attempted to bribe Hoffman into backing off when he told Hoffman he'd make sure the negative things he said about Hoffman and others in Brinkley's book would be changed in a rewrite.

That's the call that is being heard around the world right now because it was the impetus for Hoffman to start calling the Swiftvets.
If Hoffman had accepted (which I never thought for a minute he would), you can be sure that we would have heard about it.

Brinkley has already re-released his book, fixing multiple errors that have come to light since it was first published.
Someone needs to keep an ORIGINAL version of Brinkley's book -- to compare it to the 2-3 page version of truths left over -- after every Kerry lie in it has been exposed.

When Kerry looked up Hoffman's number in his address book, he saw two "A.Hoffmans," making an honest mistake he dialed Admiral Hoffman rather than his old friend, Abbie.
