Senator Dole was virtually run out of office during his candidacy because the American Sheeple were told that he had to resign from the Senate in order to run for President.

Obviously, the American People have matured since then.

Though they'll probably relapse the next time a prominent Republican Senator wants to run for President (or Veep).

Think the problem with Dole was that he was spending too much time in the Senate, not enough campaigning... clearly not a problem with Kerry!
