I am always disappointed when a candidate links God in some fashion with the outcome of an election. This is the tenant of the very religions we are in conflict with. Oh well, I wish him well.Thanks for bringing this up. If you look at the words in question -- at the conclusion of his acceptance speech, you will see that what he was saying is, "I'll try my best and leave it in God's hands."
Whatever we do, for good or ill, God has the victory! Amen.
