Swifty October Surprise For Kerry
To The Point ^ | August 2004 | Dr. Jack Wheeler

Posted on 08/22/2004 3:06:46 PM PDT by Presto

Main excerpt: " However… in the famous words of Al Jolson: “You ain’t heard nothin’ yet.” The Swiftees have prepared an October Surprise for Hanoi John that is going to blow his candidacy out of the water. I can’t tell you what it is, but I can tell you the television and radio ads have already been taped, and they are going to have an impact like an elephant sitting on a donkey.

The Swiftees have three things in abundance: money, brains, and balls. They know exactly how to go for the jugular, they have the dough to do it, and they are saving their best shot for last. The Democrats will not know what hit them and will not know how to retaliate. Get set folks. The Kerry Train Wreck is not going to be a pretty sight. "

I thought that they could only advertise until Sep 2??
Don't they have to stop 60 days before the election?

Perhaps We The People should stand up to "being muzzled" by that dadblasted CFR. If we all dress up like hippies and march on Washington, do you think we'll be heard? (I have some love beads I could wear.)

It sounds awesome, but what network would air it?

There will be so much discussion about it, they will have to show at least clips of it. Then people will seek it out online.

Better yet, as I said upthread...

CDs mailed to every home!

...Maybe at least in the swing states.

"Somebody tell me how the Swift Boat Veterans can air an ad in October, if they are muzzled by CFR 60 days before the election."

Only those 527s that are funded by labor unions and corporations are subject to the limit. Those that are funded by individuals are not under that limitation.

re: I thought 527's couldn't play ads after Sept 2?)))

! Haven't heard this. What good would they be if they could not run ads?

But Cableguy, the fringe left is maxed out on its claims against Bush. They've been maxed out for months. Bush has absorbed as much mean spirited damage as he is going to. The polling indicates as much.
But not so for Kerry. The attacks on Kerry are just getting started. He has A LOT more damage to absorb before the public sees it as old hat. By then, where will his poll numbers be? Through the basement floor that's where.

Don't get me wrong folks, we need to continue donating money to the Swiftee. Cableguy is correct that the enemy has a big financial advantage. I myself have already given $150.00. And I will likely double that over the next several weeks. Give what you can. www.swiftvets.com

They would have to run Salvo Three within 8 or 9 days if that were true.

And that's what we love about you boys! I donated to the Swiftees last night, and I plan to continue with the support regularly. This is a bloodletting that I'm enjoying way, way too much!

I heard it was a DOCUMENTARY that was going to come out!!

For 35 YEARS they have lived with the awful STIGMA of being FALSELY accused of committing ATROCITIES by Kerry and and his Other Band of Brothers (fellow travellers), and stupid Americans have believed the Kerry's of this world.

It's the PERFECT time to set the record straight and get back their good name and ALL the soldiers good names!!

"Loose lips sink ships" ???

Just as applicable in politics as it maybe in war???

This also goes both ways ... an "October Surprise" for whom???

Hey "buddy" ... rather than hinting at dark conspiracies, surprises, plans, and such why not deal with what you know?

You obviously don't know too much do you???

BTW, I think that MoveOn, DU, et al troll this site looking to see what is up. Next time why don't you send them a FAX directly? Better yet, give them a ring (you ding a ling) and lay out the complete plan.

What you are watching, folks, is a 30 year old festering boil on the backside of American being lanced.

Right on! Even going through airports in your military uniform was tough because of some of the whackos giving you heat. And of course you had to behave. Nearly 35 years!

ASA-'69-'71..........

Kerry must GO! Send him to the rubber room where he belongs!

Does anyone have an answer on what McCain-Finegold bars after 2 September? I understand it to bar any reference stated or implied for or against any person or party seeking Federal office, in a TV or radio, but not print ad, except for money spent by official campaigns and raised under Federal rules. If 527s can run ads through election day McLame-Feingold has an exception that swallos the rule.

"I hope it's something so fantastic that John Edwards sues the Kerry-Edwards Campaign for defamation of character."

So far, my research indicates that defaming John Edwards character would be as difficult as soiling raw sewage.
