Regarding Rood, isn't it interesting that this guy is the only former "eyewitness" Kerry could coerce to come forward at this critical time. But only in writing, not personally! And what's his expertise? The Sampan incident! Not the most critical of charges brought up by the Swifties.

Rassman would have been the logical guest to counter the SBVT today. Or John McCain. Or Bob Kerrey, the new defender of the war hero. Looks as though team Kerry didn't coerce "strongly" enough.

I suspect that Rood knows he could not withstand hard questioning about the incident. Maybe he wasn't really in a position to see what happened.

I wonder if there's any way to find out what his place on the SWIFT boat was????
