You might notice something missing from Hardball With Chris Matthews soon: Republicans. " Hardball may seem more like badminton during the Republican National Convention," threatens a GOP insider. What's up? The GOP thinks Matthews has gone over to Sen. John Kerry 's side and is too critical of the Bush campaign's editing of a Hardball interview with Kerry posted on the party's negative site, www.kerryoniraq.com. As payback, they've stopped urging Republicans to appear on the show. Hardball executive producer Tammy Haddad dismisses charges Matthews is biased: "We beat everybody up." So far, nobody from the White House has told her of the show's being blackballed.
It's been said (by Malkin herself) that Matthews doesn't need a guest at all. Just him and a microphone is enough for him to answer his own questions.
As far as I'm concerned, why whould he need a microphone?
Just a hairbrush (as a faux mike) and a mirror should be enough during his hospitilization for 'Poopball' to continue.
He was a good man.
So true. He could have Hillary on and spit on her all he wants. Kidding, that would be a lovefest. Speaking of lovefests, remember the lovefest interview by Tim 'Mr. Potatohead' Russert with Satan's Daughter, Madame Hamhocks back around February? Russert almost kissed her feet. When I see Russert do an interview like that with Hillary, I really feel that America is done. 'Big Media' is so horribly biased that to this day a great majority of voters are still being influenced by the soft treatment of liberals. It's sick.
What would be even better - every Republican shows up on Chris Matthews but refuses to talk about anything other than their favorite Michelle Malkin columns.
Your right, Sean is definitely more a commentator then an interviewer. But O'reilly is like that to. Same thing with Rush. Joe Scarborough is more an interviewer and sometimes puts in a commentatary. Greta Van Susterin is just talking about Scott Peterson either way. Lmao
Why stop with Hardball? Let's think big picture. I say we boycott all NBC networks. Yes, even the Olympics. Be strong, don't be tempted by all the synchronized swimming and table tennis. Let's pluck every feather off that pesky Peacock, AARGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Agreed, see post # 11.
Phil Donahue got much better ratings then Keith Olberman does now.
I saw that after I made my post. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed his drooling over her!
If the Republicans boycotted all the liberals in the media, they would only have five tv reporters left to talk with and four of them would work for Fox.
Republicans are boycotting the HOSTILE liberals, not nice liberals (like at CNN).
Actually, no human activity has ever gotten MSNBC ratings.
Just go to his Web site at hughhewitt.com -- it has a station listing. He's smart, informed, has great guests and an excellent blog.
;-)
P.S. Where were 'The Jersey Girls' when Sandy Pants Berger was stealing 9/11 papers? Quiet as church mice weren't they?
How many mistakes will he allow Unfit For Command to contain? What parts of Unfit For Command does he concede to be true?
P.S. Where were 'The Jersey Girls' when Sandy Pants Berger was stealing 9/11 papers? Quiet as church mice weren't they?
Since I'm a female, I didn't get until recently that anybody other than Chris Matthews found her attractive, as she doesn't look too great to me. Somebody mentioned in another thread about how he'd rather see her than the Senate or House members talk, and I couldn't understand why (I was assuming it was because of what she said, not how she looked), until he explained it. Duh!
Anyhow, the Jersey Girls were very quiet not only on the Berger thing, but on McGreevey appointing Cipel to the homeland security job. I wonder why!
On Thursday show he ripped into Michelle Milkin about the book .. call her comments irresponsible and kicked her of his show
Turns out He NEVER read the book
I went on a boycott of Hardball .. but I heard that one of the Swiftboats was going to be on and I wanted to see how Chris treated him ..
After what I witness that night .. I refuse to watch anything from MSNBC any more
KRISTEN BREITWEISER, HUSBAND KILLED ON 9/11: He was on the 94th floor. He called at 8:51 to tell me that he was OK. He said Sweets, dont worry. Im fine. And I didnt know what he was talking about. I didnt have the television on. And he said, You dont know? You know, I was sitting at my desk and...
DONAHUE: Now, wait a minute. Didnt he say something about heat and...
BREITWEISER: Thats what I was just going to say.
DONAHUE: Oh, Im sorry. Im sorry. Go ahead.
BREITWEISER: He was sitting at his desk and had a window seat. And he said My cheek got warm, and I looked over and there was this huge fireball and...
DONAHUE: The other building.
BREITWEISER: Which was the other building. And he knew that I wouldnt know what building he was in. And he said, I didnt want you to worry. I just wanted you to know that Im OK and that its not my building and that I love you and I just didnt want you to worry. I said, OK, you know? He said, Turn the television on, and I turned the TV on. And hes, like, I have to go. Were going to go watch it on the television. Dont worry, though. I love you. And Im, like, OK, just be careful. And that was the last I spoke to him. And about three minutes later, I saw his building explode.
DONAHUE: So youre watching live television. You have received the call from your husband saying Dont worry. You turn on the TV, you see the second plane hit and you know, dont you?
BREITWEISER: I knew right away. I knew approximately where his office was because he said that he was looking directly across at tower one. And I just had a feeling inside. And then when I saw the building subsequently collapse, I just said, My God, he is gone. And I fell to the floor and...
DONAHUE: Was your 3-year-old daughter there?
BREITWEISER: And my dog and...
Very sad.......
Get the Internet stream here, and listen to Savage right after:

LOL, yes, that would be a better approach. Chrissy & his producers think they have a fine guest all lined up, and then he/she just goes off on a tangent about Michelle & her ideas. Then the next day, and the next... That would be hilarious!
