I am very concerned about W's decision to keep Dick Cheney on the ticket as his VP. It's not that I dislike Dick Cheney or think that he's anything less than a great VP. My concern is that if we have to face Hillary in 2008 we'll need everything we can muster between now and then to defeat her. Dick Cheney will not be the Republican who's running against Hillary in 2008 and that means whoever the candidate is will not have the benefit of being the incumbent VP. Not that that's been exactly a blessing the last 50 years, but I would feel better having our 2008 candidate getting the exposure that being VP would bring. My choice for VP for Bush would be Rice or Zell Miller.

So, what happens if Cheney is somehow incapacitated in the coming 4 yr term? What happens if he decides to step down because of his health? Personally, I think they have this all figured out.
