Kerry is toast and his own words are doing the damage. Making his Vietnam record a centerpoint for his campaign is just his latest self-inflicted wound.
He was somehow awarded purple hearts for the 1st 2 self-inflicted wounds and now wants to be awarded with the Presidency.

Kerry is toast and his own words are doing the damage.I agree absolutely with that. Kerry himself has said recently that he finds his own Senate testimony in 1971 to be "over the top" and that he is uncomfortable hearing it. I hope he hears it again and again and again...
