Using proceeds from the sale of their own book would be called an act of desperation? Every product in America advertises with it's own revenue. The free market has allowed it to become self-sustaining instead of dependent on donations. I call that sucess not desperation.
What I want to know is whether or not under the new campaign finance laws it's legal.
I doubt if it is legal, but I still don't think they should do it.
We've already seen the low blows the Dems are tossing out at the group, and you know if the group took the money from book sales to fund attacks on Kerry, they'd find some incredible way to spin that negatively.
