I'm a Cold War Warrior, USAF 72-76 SAC Viet Nam Era vet. Does that qualify me for membership?
Check out the VFW link I provided but if you received a Combat Action Medal for your time in Nam then "come on down!"

I am only an Viet Nam ERA Vet. SAC kept me stateside. I always say ERA. I only say Viet Nam Vet when it's someone who went there. National Defense, Marksmanship, and Pocket Rocket (SAC Missile Emblem), were the only adornments on my chest. I had tried to enter Para Rescue but they were turning down married applicants in Summer 1972.
